I hope you don't mean those things I wrote when I was drunk I can't remember what I was doing. I'm trying to be a little less silly, for the most part.
Obviously there will be some humorous events and encounters. Aerie herself though isn't really a funny character I mean, she can be, but mostly she just plays the straight man to other sillier characters like Neera, Imoen or Minsc.
She has a very good relationship and dynamic with all of those, I think. A nice looking mod. Aerie's a character who lot a lot of growth in the main game, and she can be mischievous given the right partners, like Imoen, and she did lack an NPC quest from what I recall, so seeing her get that kind of additional expansion can be good. And nice to see some EE expansion going on too, I should look into playing that at some point.
Just want to say, really looking forward to this! I saw some of the content in the other thread, and it looks great! There was a lot of half-finished ideas in that character, originally.
She had a lot of potential, but didn't seem completely finished. Sorry I'm procrastinating so much over this. But I've actually been writing quite a bit of my own original fiction as well, although I would still like to get this finished. Some of the original ideas I had were possibly a bit too ambitious I mean don't want to give her personal quest that's too large and takes over the game.
But I've so had so many ideas that it was impossible to compress it all down. So I know I'm just going to have to cut out a lot and strip it down to the most basic elements. I ruled out the idea of actually restoring her wings early, as I don't know how to make that work mechanically, and also it would mean rewriting quite a bit of her existing dialogue which I don't want to do.
Her wings atrophied and had to be amputated, and Aerie is deeply traumatized by this. Fortunately Quayle, one of the joinable NPCs from the original Baldur's Gate game, joined the circus and took care of her, and she still regards him as her "uncle" and mentor.
As a result she is a follower of the Gnomen god Baervan Wildwanderer. I suppose only the protagonist has to obey the 2nd Edition rules. Disable all ads! Join Date: March 2, If you want the romance you have to be supportive to the fact she lost her wings if not you can politly tell her it's not your concern or if your with Jaheira she will bring it up by tell her to stop whining then you have to chose wich girl you want or tell them both to shut up!
Arie will open up to some races better than Jaheira, I was a gnome and Arie spoke alot more to me than Jaheira. Hehe, thats what i said Stradh.
